The short version
- The Offloadio app runs fully offline — it never sends your footage, file names, or usage anywhere.
- If you buy a license, Lemon Squeezy handles the payment and your billing details. We never see your card number.
- This website uses cookieless analytics to count visits and downloads. No tracking cookies, no ad networks, no profiles.

What we collect, and why
1. When you visit this website
We use privacy-friendly, cookieless web analytics to understand how many people visit and download the app. It records aggregate, non-identifying information such as page views, the page you came from, approximate region (country/city level), and general device or browser type. It does not set tracking cookies, build advertising profiles, or identify you personally.
2. When you download the app
The macOS download is a direct file download. The Windows version is distributed through the Microsoft Store, which has its own privacy practices and gives us only aggregate install statistics. We use download counts to understand demand — they are not tied to your identity.
3. When you buy a license
Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record (the seller of record that handles payment, tax, and receipts). When you check out, you provide your name, email, and billing/payment details directly to Lemon Squeezy — we never receive or store your full card details.
From a completed order we receive limited information needed to deliver and support your license, such as your name, email address, country, and an order reference.
4. When you activate a license
To issue and enforce licenses we use Keygen. We store your license key together with your email and a device fingerprint (a non-reversible identifier for the computer you activate on) so we can honor your seat limit and help you if you change machines. Activation is the only time the app contacts the network for licensing; after that, the app validates your license offline.
Keygen is our licensing provider for launch. Our system is built so we can move to a different provider in the future; if that changes who processes this data, we’ll update this policy accordingly.
What we do not do
- We don’t collect or transmit the footage, photos, file names, or folders you process in the app.
- We don’t sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
- We don’t use advertising trackers or build behavioral profiles.
- We don’t require an account to download or use the free offloads.
Cookies
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies, and our analytics is cookieless. The Lemon Squeezy checkout may set its own cookies that are necessary to process your purchase securely; those are governed by Lemon Squeezy’s privacy policy.
Who else handles your data
We rely on a small number of trusted providers (“sub-processors”) to run the service. Each only receives what it needs for its role:

How long we keep it
We keep license and order information for as long as your license is active and as needed for tax, accounting, and support obligations. Aggregate analytics is retained only in summary form and is not linked to you. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below); some records may be retained where the law requires it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or California’s CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email [email protected] and we’ll respond within the time the law allows. You won’t be charged or treated differently for making a request.
International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, they rely on recognized safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect that data.
Children
Offloadio is a professional tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data, we’ll update this page and revise the “last updated” date above. Significant changes will be highlighted here.
